Tue Dec 2, 2008, 8:53 PM
Yo DA.

I'm pretty decent as of lately, xD For those who are awesome, they'd know Bullet for my Valentine's new CD came out! :rose: Otherwise, read along.

I got accepted to go to a writing seminar in Port Aransas next weekend, I'm so pumped! Good resume' material.

In art, I'm prepping up for VASE art competition in February; and got done with a tattoo request! I'm also decorating the school's art doors with Christmas themes n.n; (BAH HUMBUG!) Lastly, I got to be one of the editors experimenting with the graphic novel portion of our Literary Magazine (Nationally ranked 1st place 2yrs running!) I'm really pumped..HARDCORE STYLE!

Again, - I'll keep posting as I paint, hope to meet everyone's needs, PLEASE feel free to ask any questions, comments, concerns, blackmail, and compliments n.n; I'm open to anything.

Rock On, and don't illegally download~!

Yeah, but no one really buys cds anymore. :s If I get music it's from itunes. x.x; But I never really take music with me anymore.

Plus it's usually small time bands or those not as famous that are desperate for the money. Of course I feel compassionate for the big time bands, but when they have enough dough for a nice living can't really do anything about people who download them. :s If I have to buy stuff I by for smaller bands.

Though: Hell. Metalica and bands like them, I just listen to one or two songs every now and then on youtube. I wouldn't buy the cd though. :s

Plus I believe that if you're in it for the money, then music definitely isn't for you. :s So while I love playing the piano, the drums, (or even the retarded french horn) I'd keep them as hobbies. Or at least for the second part of my life if I decide to take them anywhere in some kind of career when I have the stability to stand on my feet if I fail on my sticks or keys. Regular bands usually take to the road and if you're good and sell out you make it by. Eventually through smart advertising or marketing you can make that cash.
But again music should be for the soul not for the pockets.

I suppose. Yet Bullet isn't a mainstream band like Metalica. If they are in it for money or not; True fans can all recognize when they buy the CD, buying one or two off iTunes from rising bands really don't give anyone any support. Bands lose out on crap like Limewire and YouTube song posts.
